Last Thursday 24th October, Liverpool Hospitality Association hosted its annual awards and charity ball at Titanic Hotel Liverpool’s beautifully decorated Rum Warehouse, with four deserving Titanic employees walking away triumphant as winners or highly commended.
Over 360 people attended the glamorous event, which seeks to pay recognition and celebrate the exceptional, hard-working talent which makes up the hospitality industry in Liverpool, rewarding employees at all levels across a number of categories.
Hospitality Action, a charity which dedicates itself to supporting those who work in the hospitality industry in the UK by offering them help, advice and support in times of need, was the chosen charity of the evening and benefited from the funds raised.
The awards, which were hosted by Greatest Hits radio presenter Rossie, included everything from Rising Star and Heart of House, to unsung Hero and Head Chef of the Year, with each of the winners being presents with beautiful award plates and champagne.
An impressive eight Titanic Hotel Liverpool employees were shortlisted for the awards, with Rum Bar waiter Ryan Cannon winning the category of Employee of the Year Bar Service. Assistant Manager Adam Garvey was highly commended for Employee of the Year Food Service; Damien Daly from Concierge was highly commended for Employee of the Year Front of House; and Head Chef of Stanley’s Bar & Grill, Ferenc Haar, was also highly commended for Head Chef of the Year. Overall an amazing result for Titanic Hotel Liverpool.
