The picturesque surroundings of Liverpool's Titanic Hotel was the location last night for a showcase of summer time food and drink.
Guests included selected media and lifestyle bloggers and were welcomed to the hotel with a fresh gin and rose cocktail, outside on the Colonnade dining area, which overlooks the waters of the historic Stanley Dock.
The al fresco event featured a selection of small plates from Stanley’s Bar and Grill a la carte menu, such as a selection of Titanic onion bhajis served with spiced cauliflower, golden raisins and mango; seared scallops served with chick peas, ham fritter and paprika; seabass with Thai curry spice, puffed rice and coconut; lamb rump with Moroccan spiced cous cous, charred vegetables and Harissa and mini fish and chips served with mushy peas and tartar sauce.
Titanic Hotel’s barman Tendai entertained guests with a cocktail masterclass showcasing summer favourites, including a Garden Party and Lemon Drop cocktail. Guests were also given the chance to try their hand at mixing their own cocktail.
As the warm evening sun highlighted the uniqueness of the stunning city destination, many guests took the opportunity to capture some great photographs to post on their social media.
Open to both hotel guests and visitors, the Colonnade is the perfect place to enjoy the summer months - a wide variety of food and drinks are available all day from Stanley’s Bar and Grill and Rum Bar, with food served from 11am until late.
