This month Michael & Lee and Matthew Rycraft Photography won Wedding of the Year 2017 with Your Merseyside & Cheshire Magazine. Michael & Lee got married at Titanic Hotel Liverpool on 24th June 2017 with a black tie dress code and an industrial theme, their stylish wedding day was amazing in Rum Warehouse.
“We couldn’t have asked for anything more from the venue.From the minute we first stepped inside, we knew that the Titanic was going to be our wedding venue. The team there were amazing from start to finish. We’ve never been to a hotel where every single member of staff were so friendly, helpful and professional, from concierge to cleaning staff to serving staff. Alexandra (the wedding coordinator) and David (the Rum Warehouse Manager) deserve a special mention - they could not have been any more professional and helpful! They’re damn good at their jobs!”
We met with the winning couple they day they found out they win and they said: “We can’t believe we won, Matthew went above and beyond during the day and his work is truly captured exactly what we wanted plus much more.”
Matthew Rycraft said: “I’m ecstatic to announce I’ve won for a 3rd year in a row, I actually couldn’t believe it when the magazine called. Lee and Michael's wedding was just fabulous, they put so much thought into their day it doesn’t surprise me so many people voted to help them win. They’re such a kind and gracious couple and this is my second gay wedding award! Massive thanks to the wedding venue too, they really supported us throughout the whole campaign.”
