Titanic Hotel Liverpool Launches Gin Afternoon Tea
Titanic Hotel Liverpool has launched an exciting new Gin Afternoon Tea just in time for Afternoon Tea Week, which takes place from 12th to 18th August. To celebrate this quintessential British pastime, the Gin Afternoon Tea will be available for £27 pp forthis week only; then it will be available for £32 pp from 19th August until 30th September.

Guests can celebrate the height of the summer on Titanic’s beautiful Colonnade overlooking the waters of Stanley Dock, whilst enjoying a mouth-watering menu of sweet and savoury delicacies, available as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and traditional options.

To begin with, guests can enjoy a selection of freshly made British finger sandwiches, with highlights including the classic Coronation Chicken, made with apricot, golden raisin, toasted almonds and curry spices, delectable Roast Beef, paired with whipped horseradish and peppery watercress, and Poached Salmon with dill crème fraiche. To finish off with something sweet, diners can indulge in a selection of mini desserts and homemade scones with clotted cream and preserves.

New to the menu is a choice of three beautifully crafted gin cocktails including a refreshing Peppermint Mojito, made with peppermint tea, lime juice and gomme syrup. For those with a preference for savoury drinks, Titanic's Rosemary & Olive Cocktail, made with rosemary and black olive tonic, garnished with rosemary and hazelnut, hits the spot every time. The last option is a refreshing Rhubarb & Hibiscus Cocktail, made with rhubarb and hibiscus tonic, garnished with rose petals and orange wedge.

All the gin cocktails are created with limited edition Bombay Sapphire English Estate Gin, capturing the essence of the hills and hedgerows that surround the Bombay Sapphire Laverstoke Mill Distillery in Hampshire. Notes include pennyroyal mint, rosehip and toasted hazelnut.
