For four days in July Liverpool will glow with colour, fun and samba!
The Brazilica Liverpool's International Samba Carnival was celebrated in 2008 for the first time as part of the Capital of Culture celebrations, a magical event that saw more than 39000 visitors enjoying the parade in the streets of Liverpool.

Today the local Samba school, the Liverpool Carnival Company, organises a 3 day festival which, here at Titanic Hotel Liverpool, we consider one of the biggest and more attractive cultural events in Merseyside showcasing the very best of the Brazilian culture.

Although some of the activities for the Festival have already started, like the Brazilica Film Festival, the main events will take place across Liverpool from the 17th to the 19th of July such as an Ipanema themed Carnival Ball to the compulsory election of the Carnival Queen on  Friday17th.

But the big day will be on Saturday 18th from 8pm with the Carnival Parade. Liverpool will explode in colour, drums, caipirinha and samba in a major event that will cross Liverpool showing the rythms from our local Samba School and guests come from London, Paris, South France and Belfast!

Don't forget to check Titanic Hotel's website if you are coming to the Brazilica festival. We are ready for the Carnival because é tempo de dançar! (It's time to dance!)
