On Friday 2nd November, the esteemed Liverpool Hospitality Association hosted their annual awards at the Rum Warehouse, which saw 12 triumphant winners take home awards across a number of categories.
Titanic’s very own Joanne Woods, Deputy Head Housekeeper, was awarded the ‘Employee of the Year - Heart of House’ award, a very well-earned win from one of our most deserving employees.
Joanne commented, ‘I am so proud to of won Employee of the Year Heart of House at the Liverpool Hospitality Awards. After all of the years I have worked in housekeeping, and the hard work I have put in to doing the job the best I can and building my career, I am really over-whelmed and proud to receive this award’.
Joanne has been with us for over four years, and has always gone above and beyond her job requirements to deliver great service. Joanne is the perfect role model for people looking to work in the hotel industry, and this award demonstrates how her hard work and effort have paid off.
The evening was a great success and the awards saw over 400 attendees from the hospitality industry come together to celebrate the exceptional, hard working talent found in Liverpool, with the event being an opportunity to recognise and reward employees at all levels.
Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees who should all be very proud of themselves, especially Joanne and also Michael Ordish who was a finalist for Employee of the Year – Front of House.
