Liverpool has many things to offer. Not only the Docks, World Heritage Site, or the Beatles but as well the city provides wonderful opportunities to enjoy fantastic examples of the 20th Century’s art. So no wonder locals and tourists choose the Titanic Hotel Liverpool to start their route by the Scouse culture.
The TATE Liverpool has recently inaugurated the exhibition Jackson Pollock: Blind Spots, where the visitor can travel throughout the life and work of one of the most characteristic members of the abstract expressionism, the American Jackson Pollock.
Thisexhibition focuses on the artist’s black pourings, one of the less known periods of the author who is recognised by his poured painting on canvases.Although he was introduced to the use of liquid ink by the Mexican muralist David Alfaro Sequeiros using this technique in his work during the 40’s, Pollock was the creator of the action painting, challenging how painting was understood until then adding a new dimension to his work.
So whether you are staying at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool for business or just in a romantic break, call in the TATE Liverpool until October 2015.
